Thanks to Mindy for sharing this great John Mayer song with me through her blog. It beautifully reminds us to open our hearts - and our mouths - and say what we need to say, rather than letting fear or pride block our words. I know I could certainly use the reminder!
So, speak up! That's going to be my new goal - to say what I need to say rather than let the moment pass. Thanks, Mindy (and John!), for the inspiration:)

This a hard concept for me, too, as I often hold back. My goal is to say it with as little hurt to another as possible, and that's the tricky part.
Isn't he a great singer! I loved the song when I first heard it and had to have it on my blog. Great message, huh. I just love your quotes on the sidebar. They are so true. I hope you have a wonderful 4th of July! Aaron is getting so big! I can't believe he is crawling.
Mindy :)
hmm..my MO is to say what people want to hear and then talk about them behind their back. probably not the best policy. how is your son's hair always so perfect?!! too cute. so cool that you got a whole house for him to grow up in...with neighborhood friends to play kickball with and everything. i like to imagine the details.
Amen to that...Im good at telling Lane what needs to be said, much to his dismay! But I plan on being more open to everyone around me! Love Aarons hair combed to the side, still waiting for Coopers to "settle down"
