Bloom Where You're Planted

At about our eight-month mark here, it hit me that I feel pretty settled here and am really starting to like it here. I've heard it takes up to a year to fully "adjust" to a new home, so I didn't think eight months was too bad! :)

I feel like we're in a good groove with church activity, friends, play dates, preschool, etc. The boys are excelling, and for that we are truly happy. Oh! And our house is pretty well organized at this point. Maybe THAT'S why I'm feeling settled! Of course! :) Anyway, it's just such a good feeling to feel at home here and to feel like I know my way around and to be done with boxes. What a blessing! We've been blessed to make some really good friends here, which of course makes life more enjoyable. Mike's been working really hard and really likes his job. So all in all, we're in a good place right now :)
