More Computer Woes
Sadly just days after my brother completely transformed our computer, it broke! Yep, our more-than-10-year-old computer went kaput - imagine that! So we have no way to upload photos until a) the computer gets repaired (if it's even repairable) or b) we break down and buy a new one. In the meantime at least we have a laptop we can use. Just wanted to explain why there may not be picts on our blog for awhile. We'll keep taking 'em and we'll post them as soon as we can! :)

All About Grrr-ant
I was mad at myself for not documenting all of Aaron's height/weight stats, so I decided to try to remember to do it for little Grant. He had his two-month checkup this past week, and appears he is healthy and thriving! All 13.3 pounds of him! This puts him in the 95th percentile for weight. He is 22.5 inches long, marking the 50th percentile. He has been a lot of fun, and he's slowly but surely growing on his brother Aaron :) Here's a little bit about him.
Nickname: Grunts (because he is a big-time grunter. It's close enough to Grant, right?)
Nighttime sleeping habits: Initially sleeps about a five- or six-hour stretch and then typically sleeps another three hours. So essentially he's up once during the night, sometimes twice.
Developments: He is starting to smile back! He also seems to take it in stride when his big brother tries to sit on him or just comes on a little too strong.
Since he is only two months old, there isn't much to report about him yet. It sure has been fun having two sweet little guys around. Life just keeps getting better :)

Makin' Up For Lost Time
A few picts to document what we've been up to ...
Why does Grant already look almost as big as Aaron, who's on a very important phone call by the way ;)
Will those blue eyes stay blue? Only time will tell ...
(Obviously not the best focused picture ... we'll work on that!) :)
Me and my boys ... I've got my hands full ... literally!
And a pict of the boys ... aren't they cute! ;)

Happy {Belated} Fourth!
I am extremely happy to report that blogging will be much funner and not so tedious now that our computer has been transformed. My computer genius of a brother, David, worked some magic on our computer and - presto - it runs like a brand-new machine. Now it will take about 30 seconds to update the blog as opposed to 30 minutes (seriously!) I love how much faster it runs. Thank you so much, David!!
We loved having him, his wife Traci, and their beautiful daughter Leah here for the Fourth of July. What fun! We love having a great family. We attended a local celebration where we saw skydiving, enjoyed fried Oreo cookies and funnel cake (gotta love fair food!), and went to the petting zoo. As you can see, Aaron was a little tentative around the animals at first and was pretty much plastered to Mike, but eventually he wanted to get down and pet them. He loved getting a close-up look at the animals he always hears about in books. Nothin' like the real thing, baby!
